CMC Research Postgraduate Seminar Programme

The spring semester is almost upon us and we have put together what should be a fascinating series of seminars for our RPG community.  Here is the programme in it’s entirety:

19th February: Dr Will Dinan (Social Sciences, UWS) – “The communication of climate denial”

26th February: Dr Brain Hoyle (Film, University of Dundee) – “John Boorman’s Deliverance

5th March: Dr Vikki Turbine (Politics, University of Glasgow) – “Young women’s political aganecy online and off in Russia: new spaces of engagement and inclusion”

12th March: Hieke Puchan (Media, Communication & Journalism, Glasgow Caledonian University) – “Adventure sports and the media”

Monday 17th March: Challenging Everyday Sexism – a day of events at the MacRobert with speakers (including laura bates of the Everyday Sexism Project and The Guardian women’s blog); Kezia Dugdale MSP and Professor Gail Diness) and workshops.  Contact Karen Boyle (karen.boyle@stir.ac.uk) for details.

19th March: What I Know Is: A research symposium on online collaborative knowledge-building.  This is a day long symposium and all places should be **booked in advance**.  Contact Greg Singh (greg.singh@stir.ac.uk) for more details.
